RetailMeNot is currently offering free $25 Threadless voucher for anyone who owns a blog.  The blog owner is asked to put a RetailMeNot widget on the blog and email the link ot widget@retailmenot.com.

I have added the widget to the top right side of my blog.  The javascript generated will automatically adjust to the size where you place the widget to align with the div size.

Free Website Hosting

I came across this website through another blog today called 000webhost.com.  They offer free web hosting for anyone who would like to have an account.  Their offers include:

  • 500 MB Disk Space, 100 GB Data Transfer
  • PHP with MySQL database
  • cPanel Control Panel
  • Fantastico one click installer

I am usually cautious when the offer sounds too good to be true.  However, I will sign up for an account and test to see how reliable before I decide whether I will move all my web hosting to them.  If they are as good as they advertised, it will be a great way for beginners who is looking to build web properties without wanting to dish out any money up front.

I received this tax calculator link from a friend today.  With the tax season fast approaching, it is now time to reflect on individuals tax situation.  The tax calculator has a spreadsheet that enables you to get a good idea whether you are getting returns.  Remember to file early if you are getting returns so you can put those refunds to investments.
